since you never wanted to fight with her then just go with your choice
you have your piano grade so i think you will do better for your song
and as for her well i can only agree that her skills on that will be better then you but you can't just because of this & give up on your confidence that has always be with you
& don't think that what you choose & what you do isn't fair to you it just that it's just not to right time to be with you
time can slowly proof to you whether what is right & what is wrong
